Brief// Develop a brand for a niche tourism operator in Coromandel as a on-stop-shop for booking top quality tourism experiences across the North Island while being able to also sell their own local products.
background:
The client already runs a tour company “ Coromandel Adventures” with its own set of local tour products, and recently they have been increasing their co-operation with a number of other top tourism operators across the North Island. They operate on a very high level.
challenge:
To develop a brand that sits well alongside the client’s existing tour business, and also to communicate effectively that they don’t just book their own products but offer a host of other outstanding experiences with the top players all over the North Island (“we only partner with the best”).
The brand needs to be able to stand on its own, it has to be able to co-exist well with their own tour brand, and it has to tie in with an array of other different brands that they wish to promote with it (e.g. Te Puia, White Island, Hobbiton, Waitomo).
requirements:
Among other elements the brand will need to feature a strong logo which captures the essence of this business, and be applicable across a range of media.
The brand will need to be universally applicable, with particular emphasis on shop-front signage, posters, promotional material, display panels, and website use.
Immediate applications will be outside shop signage alongside the tour operation signage, as well as display-boards featuring their partner businesses and products.
